The in and outs of the happenings of New Jersey life

I could blame my lack of blogging on our busy life, which is true because I just recently changed the calendar from May to August. Apparently I just missed the months of June and July.  But the truth is, Bear bought me a beautiful new camera for our one-year anniversary (which happened in June)  and I had not learned how to download the pictures onto the computer. So with no pictures comes no new blogs. So with that said, I finally took the time to learn how to get the pictures from the camera to the computer so everyone can be excited and thankful because we the Brooks family are now back in the blogging world!

The past couple of months we have been keeping busy with everything that summer has to offer. First, like stated before, we celebrated our one- year anniversary. I could not believe that it has already been a year. I could not be more happy

and

more in love with my sweet husband. I thank him everyday for all he doe

s for me. Second, we went to Utah for 2 weeks. It was so much fun seeing my Mo

m and Dad and spending so much time with them. Thanks for accommodatin

g u

s. We also got to spend time with my dear friend Lindsay, her husband Casey

and little boy Jack. Jack is the cutest baby ever and it was great being there with them. Third, Bear and I are still exploring New Jersey and all that it has to offer. Enjoy all the pictures.

Bear set up a slip in slide for the neighborhood children. Don't worry, when I got home from work Bear was outside slip in sliding away with all the kids.

Fishing in the rain.
We drove out to our favorite fishing/relaxing spot on a clear sunny day. We parked the car and set up a little area to relax. Five seconds later, thunder, rain = down poor. Everything was all wet. And all we could do was laugh.

The county fair came to the area. We were able to walk with it being just right down the street. One night we walked there just to get an elephant ear. Yummy.

Hey Katrina! I'm glad you found our blog. It's been WAY TOO LONG since I've seen you (since probably high school)! It looks like you guys are so happy having fun in New Jersey. It's far from family, but probably such a great adventure. Keep in touch -k-!

P.S. Your dog is so cute!
